Certified training courses
21 certified training courses for nine humanitarian professions, in Lyon and Dakar.
From three months, for more experienced profiles, to three years for those new to the field, accessible through a selection process and exam or accreditation of prior learning (APL), our 16 certified training courses in Europe and Africa equip participants with the professional skills and key inter-personal qualities they require to work in support roles, project and programme coordination or technical humanitarian coordination, thanks to an original approach to training which focusses learning on action and meaning (role plays and case studies directly inspired by humanitarian work in the field).
Un parcours durable et évolutif dans le secteur humanitaire.Since 2015, we have been running different training courses alongside each other for the same professions: a 'full' version for those new to the field (with little relevant experience or few qualifications); a short version (three months) for more experienced participants (who have worked or have qualifications in the relevant field) to tailor or consolidate their skills. Bioforce is the only institution able to award a qualification for each of these nine professions, with accredited frames of reference which have been approved by humanitarian professionals. This certification, from level III to level I (from the equivalent of a two-year higher education diploma to a master's degree) enables participants to develop a long-term humanitarian career and to obtain recognition for this experience.

Our certified training programmes
Following the training course in our centre, continue developing your knowledge in the field. An essential part of Bioforce's courses, which combine action with training, the certified training courses include professional experience in the field with a humanitarian organisation: a four-month 'humanitarian placement' for the Humanitarian Logistics and Facility Management Officer course, or a six-month assignment for the other professional courses (on-the-job training). Our teams help students to forge their project and to prepare to meet their future employers, NGOs. Their training coordinator is
on-hand at all times to offer support during their assignment. Bioforce bases its decision to award certifications on the NGO's assessment, as well as the teaching team's assessment of the assignment report, at commissions involving representatives from the industry (NGO employees and employers).
