On March 19th, the Government of the Principality of Monaco and Bioforce signed a partnership agreement for a period of 3 years: through this multi-year support to our Regional Training Center in Dakar (Senegal), the Principality aims at contributing to improving the relevance, quality and impact of the humanitarian response in Western and Central Africa.

Monaco aid, allocated through the Department of International Cooperation, focuses on three priority areas of intervention, in accordance with the national policies of the countries concerned (among which Senegal): health, education and socio-economic integration.

A long-time partner of Bioforce, the Department of International Cooperation of the Government of the Principality of Monaco is thus committed to supporting from 2018 to 2020, the creation of talent pool of skilled next-generation aid workers, the development of training for aid workers, and more broadly the provision of regional sustainable training tailored to the needs of the sector and closer to international and local crisis response organisations.
